this is a picture i took after an attempted, yet failed surf session due to the substancial lack of waves!
this is a sad picture... well, for it is for me anyways... it gives me that empty feeling that seems to come around a bit too much on those cold and lonley nights... the feeling which gives the illusion- or in other cases, the reality of missing something, or someone which is supposed to be a part of your life. i like the colors, it contributes to the overal sensation... and the woman's body language gives a lot to contemplate as well... so, i shall go make myself an artificail night [shakespeare] (even if it is dark already anyways) till I evolve from this sudden depression in which there's nothing to be depressed about in the first place... well, i will now take my apatheticness somewhere eles and let rest from my "oh-so-apealing" rants... bye byee
The whole composition of the photo is really well done. The colours are really pretty and they fit with the overall mood - especially the girl. Like she's slowly walking away...a photo in motion, y'know? Love the ripples in the water...you captured the moment perfectly!

I like the color and tone here. It is very peaceful and contemplative, and at the same time I can feel the emptiness you mentioned. And aside, it's a lovely shot of the sea.
A continuation of my unexpectedly-popular guide on Mary Sue prevention. Feedback and support is completely welcomed! Thank you all for your support so far.
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
